Conor McGregor claims he is “too slick” for Michael Chandler

As mentioned earlier, Conor McGregor is set to return to the UFC later this year to face Michael Chandler. Going into the bout, McGregor is filled with confidence despite winning just one of his last four fights and believes he is “too slick” for ‘Iron’.

In a recent interview on My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox, McGregor discussed a variety of topics, including his upcoming fight against Chandler. The former two-division champion claimed that he is going to show the difference in skill level between him and the former Bellator champion:

“For Chandler, I’m just too slick for him. I’m just too skilled for him. He hasn’t fought someone like me. I have fought someone like him though… It’s, in general, the mixed martial arts style right? That kind of short wrestler. It’s kind of MMA, isn’t it? It ain’t nothing peculiar. I’ve fought against such [fighters] for many, many years… It’ll be my job now on fight night to show the difference in level [between me and him].”
