The Kansas City Chiefs entered the 2023 season with a lot of confidence.

They were coming off a Super Bowl victory, and while their road to it might be difficult, many expected them to win the AFC West.

While there is a lot of season left to play, the Denver Broncos are now 7-6, just one game behind them for the division lead.

As Robert Griffin III has recently tweeted, this is a shocking turn of events, given the Broncos’ 1-5 record through their first six games.

They have only lost one game since their 1-5 start, which came at the hands of the Houston Texans last week.

Otherwise, the Broncos seem to be on a roll.

They have taken down several AFC juggernauts on this run, including the Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and Cleveland Browns.

This team seems to have cleared up any woes at the start of the year.

Russell Wilson has finally started to figure out the offense, a big reason for the Broncos’ success to this point in the season.

The Broncos’ final four games of the season will determine whether they make it into the playoffs and potentially take the division away from the Chiefs.

Their next four opponents are the Detroit Lions, New England Patriots, Los Angeles Chargers, and Las Vegas Raiders.

The Lions started the year strong but have struggled lately.

Otherwise, the Patriots, Chargers, and Raiders are all trending downward, which is good news for the Broncos.

If they can take care of business, winning at least three of these games, they can put themselves in a great position to make the playoffs.

Will it be enough to dismantle the Chiefs, ending their seven-year run of AFC West titles?
