NFL Insider Shares Davante Adams Legal Update

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is facing a legal battle after shoving a camera operator away after their Week 5 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
He could have eased the situation by helping the person stand up but instead went his own way.
That person filed a report to the authorities and would like Adams to address his antic, even if he already apologized publicly.
ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter revealed an update regarding this case.
With misdemeanor assault charges being filed against Raiders’ WR Davante Adams, his case now falls under the NFL’s personal conduct policy, which waits for the legal process to play out. While it does, Adams will continue playing, including Sunday vs. the Texans.

Schefter tweeted, “With misdemeanor assault charges being filed against Raiders’ WR Davante Adams, his case now falls under the NFL’s personal conduct policy, which waits for the legal process to play out. While it does, Adams will continue playing, including Sunday vs. the Texans.”
Adams is in danger of being suspended for a game and paying an appropriate fine.
But until a verdict is bestowed, he will continue to play for the Raiders.
If suspended, it will be another blow to an already disappointing start for Las Vegas.
Despite Adams’ addition, they won just one out of five games.
All of their defeats were within one possession.
Adams Frustrated After A Tough Loss
The Raiders had an opportunity to defeat the Chiefs in Week 5.
However, Adams’ catch that could have set up a game-winning field goal was nullified.
The Raiders lost that game, even if Adams finished with three receptions for 124 yards and two touchdowns.
They hope the bye can help turn their fortunes around.
But as they seek more victories, Adams will have to wait to see how his case will unfold.
He will certainly get penalized because there’s evidence of his actions.
Until then, it’s time for the Raiders to finish the season strong after a quick break.
