The Minnesota Vikings are mourning the loss of their longtime head coach Bud Grant.

Grant coached the Vikings for 18 seasons and he had a career record of 158-96-5.

He coached them to the NFL championship in 1969.

He also led the Vikings to four NFC Championships during his tenure.

Grant is also a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Grant left a lasting impact on the Vikings organization.

Many Vikings fans took time to reminisce about some of their favorite moments with Grant over the years.

This included when he did the coin toss at their outdoor playoff game back in 2016.

That game went down as the third coldest in NFL history, but Grant remained unphased.

There were plenty of Vikings fans that grew up watching Grant’s teams and were inspired by what they saw.

When a coach is in one city for so long, they become beloved by many fans.

Even fans of opposing teams could respect what Grant did as a head coach.

Grant will forever go down as not just a Vikings legend, but a Minnesota legend.

He was 95 years old and had a run as good as anyone can ask for.
