Over the years, Kyrie Irving of the Dallas Mavericks has made an infamous name for himself as someone who isn’t always easy to get along with.

But he has a lot of friends in the league so there is clearly something about him that attracts people.

Meanwhile, Luka Doncic has often been viewed as a big kid who loves to have fun, play pranks, and smile and laugh.

On Sunday night during the NBA All-Star Game, we saw a brief interaction that showed the more playful side of these two stars.

While sitting on the bench, Doncic tapped Irving on the shoulder opposite of him.

Irving, thinking someone was behind him, quickly turned around.

He then realized that Doncic was playing a childish prank on him, laughed, and stole away his towel with a smile.

It was a nice moment between the two stars who have just started working together.

Irving has been with the Mavericks for just a couple of weeks and the pressure is high for both him and Doncic.

Once Irving was sent to Dallas, this backcourt combination immediately became one to watch.

Expectations for Irving and Doncic together are sky-high with both fans and analysts claiming they can do a lot.

So far, this pair has not won a game when playing with each other.

They have, however, scored a lot of points while performing on the court as a unit.

Those points just haven’t helped them secure a victory together.

It is great to see Irving and Doncic having fun and building a friendship but will that translate into great success in the Western Conference?
