While there are plenty of hard-felt rivalries in the National Football League, those that take place in the NFC East Division might as well be the most passionate.

Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Washington Commanders, and the Philadelphia Eagles do not like each other, and we’re not talking just about the fans.

That’s why it’s not that usual to see James Bradbery stating that he’d be willing to be back with the Giants after joining the Eagles this season and why not many fans would welcome him with open arms, regardless of how much as they could use a guy like him:

Notably, this was even more surprising after the Giants cut him just last off-season, especially under the circumstances they did it.

Following an impressive start to his career with the Carolina Panthers, Bradberry, and the Giants sealed a three-year pact worth $45 million.

Then, he agreed to restructure his deal twice to help the team get more cap space, just to be released with one year still left in his contract.

Still, and even though he’s on the verge of playing in the most important game of his career, it seems like Bradberry hasn’t forgotten about his brief time in the Big Apple, and he might not be that fond of the City of Brotherly Love.

Otherwise, why would he make that statement?

The Eagles will have nearly 20 unrestricted free agents next season, and they could have a tough time finding a new partner for Darius Slay if Bradberry decides to leave.
