The Dallas Cowboys moved on from longtime running back Ezekiel Elliott this offseason.

It was a tough decision for their front office to make but they saved a substantial amount of cap space in doing so.

The Cowboys have decided to move on with running back Tony Pollard as their starter.

He was one of the most explosive running backs in the NFL last season and even made the Pro Bowl team.

Unfortunately, Pollard suffered a broken fibula in the playoffs.

He is expected to be full-go by next season but the Cowboys should still be looking to add another running back in the draft.

Keyshawn Johnson said on First Take that he wants to see Dallas draft Texas running back Bijan Robinson.

Robinson is the top running back in the upcoming draft and has superstar potential.

But the Cowboys would have to use their first-round pick to get him.

Yet, some people believe that Robinson will not even make it to 26th overall.

Also, Pollard showed last season that he can take on a large workload.

He is a great rusher between the tackles and is a very good receiver.

Plus, the Cowboys just gave Pollard the franchise tag paying him just over $10 million.

It may not be worth it for the Cowboys to spend a premium pick on Robinson.

While he is a great player, the Cowboys already invested in Pollard.

Also, taking a running back in the first round does not seem like a great use of resources.
