Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys have been on a tear lately.
They’ve won five consecutive games and six of seven since the team’s Week 7 bye and could win the NFC East and No. 1 seed in the playoffs in the final month of the season.
Prescott has been a huge part of that as his MVP season continues, but the Cowboys quarterback also took some time to praise one of his offensive teammates: tight end Jake Ferguson.
“Hell of a player,” Prescott said. “Confidence is through the roof with him. He’s a fun guy to play with. Active, he will do whatever it takes to make those dirty blocks, being selfless.”

Ferguson, who’s in his second NFL season, caught five passes for 72 yards in the Week 14 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
He also had an insane hurdle over Eagles cornerback Kelee Ringo in the fourth quarter to set up another Cowboys field goal.
Ferguson is in the midst of a career season with 51 receptions for 570 yards and five touchdowns.
His receptions, yards and touchdowns rank 10th, eighth and tied for fifth among tight ends this season.
He’s also been an incredible complement to the Cowboys collection of skill position players.
While wideouts CeeDee Lamb, Brandin Cooks and Michael Gallup command a lot of attention from opposing defenses, Ferguson can find the spaces in the middle of the field and outside the numbers.
The Cowboys are firing on all cylinders this season, and the emergence of Ferguson is a big reason for that as the final month of the season moves forward.
