MARCH 20

Grand theft: Between 4 p.m. on March 16 and 9 a.m. on March 18, someone stole a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in the 13000 block of Regan Lane for a total loss estimated at $4,000.

MARCH 22

Residential burglary: Between Feb. 1 and March 22, someone entered a residence in the 19000 block of Brockton Lane using unknown means, as there were no signs of forced entry, and stole a laptop for a total loss of about $800.

MARCH 23

Stolen vehicle, grand theft: Between 4 p.m. on March 22 and 4:23 a.m. on March 23, someone stole a vehicle from the driveway of a residence in the 18000 block of Afton Avenue. The vehicle and its contents were valued at $10,000.

DUI: At 12:52 p.m., deputies responded to a traffic collision in the 13000 block of Pierce Road. An investigation revealed the suspect was driving under the influence of alcohol. The suspect was medically released, and the case will be submitted to the district attorney’s office for issuance of an arrest warrant.

MARCH 24

Residential burglary: Between 3 p.m. and 9:50 p.m., someone entered the garage of a residence in the 13000 block of Pierce Road through an open garage door and stole a bicycle for a total loss of about $900.

MARCH 25

Reckless evading, possession of stolen vehicle and drug paraphernalia, identity theft, resisting arrest, injury hit and run collision: At 12:56 p.m., deputies responded to an automated license plate reader notification for a stolen vehicle at Saratoga-Sunnyvale and Prospect roads. The vehicle, previously stolen out of San Jose, was located a short time later. Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver did not yield and recklessly evaded until the vehicle became disabled. The driver resisted but was ultimately arrested. An investigation revealed the suspect was on parole, was driving with a suspended license and was in possession of drug paraphernalia and stolen mail containing personal information not belonging to the suspect, including driver’s licenses, bank checks and ownership titles.

MARCH 26

Mail theft: Between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., someone stole mail from multiple residences on De Havilland Drive and Columbine Court.

Petty theft: At 7:39 a.m., someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 12000 block of Viewoak Drive and stole two cellular phones, gift cards, house keys and the vehicle registration paperwork for a total loss valued at $590.
