San Francisco Jazz Festival sets cool lineup for 40th anniversary



SFJAZZ has put together a really cool lineup for the 40th San Francisco Jazz Festival.

The festival consists of 40 concerts over 12 days, June 7 to 18, at the SFJAZZ Center and Herbest Theatre.

Features acts include Samara Joy, Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, Dan Tepfer, Jacob Collier, Al Di Meola, Sundra Manning, Brandon Goldberg, Edward Simon, Gerald Clayton, Ambrose Akinmusire, Joel Ross, Barrio Manouche, Gaucho, Cindy Blackman Santana with John Medeski, Donald Harrison, Charles McPherson, José James, John Brothers Piano Company, Malika Trirolien, Steve Lehman, Ben Williams, Emmaline, Orchestra Gold, Paula West, Charlie Musselwhite and Elvin Bishop.

The arts organization also announced its Summer Sessions concert series, which runs July 13 to August 20.
