The ninth and final Congressional Committee public hearing on the January 6, 2021 attack at the U.S. Capital will air October 13, 2022, after being rescheduled from September 26, 2022, due to Hurricane Ian.
This public hearing is expected to address Trump’s resistance to declaring President Joe Biden’s 2020 win, as well as the ties between “Trump’s world” and various extremist groups. Rep. Zoe Lofgren, said, “We’re going to be going through some of what we’ve already found, but augmenting with new material that we’ve discovered through our work throughout this summer.” She also stated that the hearing “will be worth watching” and will feature “pretty surprising” material.
Judging by the interest in previous hearings, this final one is expected to pull in its usual crowd. The hearing will broadcast via NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, C-SPAN and virtually on YouTube, Hulu + Live TV, and more. Here’s everything you need to know about watching today’s January 6 committee hearing.
