Crew Membership August 2022 (Start Date, Price, & Rewards)
In Fortnite, players can subscribe to the monthly Crew Membership for August 2022 to earn exclusive cosmetic items, V-Bucks, and the Battle Pass.
In Fortnite, players can purchase a monthly Crew Membership to earn exclusive monthly rewards. Players can expect to earn new cosmetic items, occasional new content, and bonus V-Bucks, the in-game currency. Players should expect the new rewards to begin on the evening of the final day of the month, July 31, 2022, and they can purchase the monthly Crew Membership anytime before that to ensure they get the rewards. For August 2022, players should expect the usual monthly cost of $11.99 USD to earn the cosmetics, 1,000 V-Bucks, and access to the Battle Pass for Fortnite.
For August 2022, players will notice the Crew Membership rewards are themed around Marvel. The exclusive skin for this month is the Wolverine Zero skin. Visually, players will find Logan wearing an eye patch, a muscle tank, and equipped with a katana. Although technically an X-Men character, Wolverine fits the theme of a Zero War comic crossover between the X-Men and Marvel franchises. Players who subscribe to the Crew Membership will also unlock the Muramasa Blade Back Bling, Equivalent Axe, and a custom loading screen titled The Best Fight You’ve Ever Had. Additionally, subscribers will also be rewarded with the Cuddle Cerise Style for the Ice-Blasted Snow Crunchem Back Bling. Unlike most items, which are available at 8 PM on July 31, 2022, any players already subscribed to Crew Pack will need to log into the game during the No Sweat Summer Event to unlock the exclusive Back Bling in Fortnite cosmetic item.
To purchase the Crew Membership, players should visit the in-game Item Shop and search for the section labeled Crew Pack. From there, players can complete their transactions and purchase their subscription for the desired month. The subscription will automatically renew each month unless the player cancels it. Even if players choose to cancel their Crew Membership, they will still have access to the rewards for the months they subscribed to.
Fortnite: Crew Membership V-Bucks and Battle Pass
In addition to the exclusive cosmetic items, players will earn 1,000 V-Bucks as part of the August 2022 Crew Membership subscription. Players can use the bonus in-game currency to purchase additional cosmetic items from the Item Shop, such as Outfits, Gliders, Pickaxes, Emotes, and Wraps. For instance, players can opt for the newly added John Cena Emote in Fortnite. Players who need additional V-Bucks can purchase them directly from the in-game store with a discount on the larger quantity of V-Bucks they choose to buy.
Players can also join the Battle Pass for Chapter 3, Season 3, which contains 10 pages of unlockable items if players can complete the quests and challenges in time. The Battle Pass is included with a subscription to the Crew Membership. Players who complete the challenges in the Battle Pass will earn rewards such as Darth Vader and Indiana Jones skins, the Salute Emote, additional V-Bucks, and new loading screens, such as the screen titled Suppressed Pistol. To earn these rewards, players will need to complete the weekly challenges, including dealing explosive damage in Fortnite while looking away. In addition, players will also find daily challenges, such as opening eight chests, getting five shotgun kills, and surviving longer than other players.
