Amtrak Names Former Wyndham Exec as New COO

Amtrak has named former Wyndham Hotels & Resorts executive Eliot Hamlisch as EVP and chief commercial officer, effective Sept. 26, the rail provider announced Monday. Hamlisch will report directly to Amtrak president Roger Harris.
Most recently Hamlisch served as EVP and chief marketing officer for AMC Entertainment Holdings. Previously, he was at Wyndham, where he had served as EVP of loyalty and revenue optimization as well as head of global sales. Hamlisch also worked at Starwood Hotels & resorts, Deloitte and American Express, according to Amtrak.
